17226 FM 359, ZIP 77445, Baja Northfield 52 Acres Far Northwest Houston
When I bought this property it was two hours drive to either the State Capitol or College Station and less than an hour to the edge of Houston. I locate the edge of Houston as the closest center with a Lowe's or Kroger. Austin and College Station haven't expanded much but Houston has. Now it's 20 freeway miles to Kroger. Just a few years ago the land these big box stores sit on was flat prairie. Baja Northfield, a quarter mile south of a mixed use subdivision, is the same flat prairie. There are a couple of ponds and a few trees. No magnificent hills or bubbling brooks. No flood plain.
The experts say this property is in the Path of Development. Check the
map.
Here's a satellite picture of the property. Here's another satellite view showing distance to Houston. Note we're inland from hurricanes.
I've surveyed off Baja Northfield into 25.07 acres and 27.505 acres. The tracts are a little funny shaped, but I made them about the same size and each tract has a pond. There's one extra wide entrance to both. The property has ag. use so taxes are minimal.
The price is $10,500.00 per acre. This is the only land on FM 359 priced under $12,000.00
per acre. Best use is buy and hold, but not long. I will carry a note for a qualified buyer (somebody who pays 20% down).
To get to Baja Northfield, go out the Northwest Freeway past Cypress, Fairfield, Waller and Prairie View. Take the Brookshire FM 359 exit. Go south a mile to a light on Old Houston Highway, then go south five miles. The property is on the left.
I have an office in the historic Rock Building in Hempstead. My cell phone number is 713-824-5351. My listed home phone is 979-826-2922. Come see me.
